I first became enamored with The Sound of Arrows when I watched their mini-video for their song “M.A.G.I.C.”. Unicorns and flying whales are a quick way to my heart. Well for some reason I never even checked if they had an album until today. Much to my surprise they’ve had an album out for almost a year. I try to stay on top of music but I can’t catch it all.

Their album “Danger!” sounds like dreamy adventure into melancholy land full of potential greatness. Need a better description? It kind of sounds like Sufjan Stevens if he replaced his fascination with American cities with Disney movies and ice cream sprinkles. Still not good enough? It sounds like you’re back in 5th grade and your girlfriend of 3 days broke up with you and you got kind of bummed but then you realized it was chicken tender day for lunch and that NHL ’96 was coming out that day and you were totally going play that game until your thumbs blistered and your eyes bled.

So it’s good. Check some songs out.
