Bodega just released a new T to their line which comes in the Bodega tomato can pictured above. Kind of cool, but what’s exceptional is the space the merchandise is sold in. It’s a privilege to experience.
Bodega holds the title of the coolest concept store in the universe (officially). Let me walk you through the experience of finding this store, which you either were told of by a super cool friend or read about online. It’s on a side street about two blocks off Boston’s Newbury Street. The store front is one of a poorly managed convenient store that seems focused on laundry products. You step inside a space the size of a jail cell which is packed with dust covered, expired food and drink products. There’s two guys sitting on laptops. On the back wall is a pop machine. The front of the pop machine slides to the side as you approach and you’re welcomed into Bodega.
The store is pristine. Hard wood floors and shelves feature limited edition kicks you’ve only blogged about. Hangers are filled with Original Fake’s new pieces beside some Japanese brands you’re going to pretend you know. Glass cases boast Super sunglasses, Surface to Air accessories and Timex pieces that make you regret upgrading to a G-Shock when you were younger.
The space is amazing. The staff don’t talk down. It’ll make you want to buy something simply to complete the expereince. Here’s some pictures of the store.
