I was walking through the streets of London on Sunday and came across a retail space called Dover Street Market. It was Sunday and the store was closed as is the nature of prepubescent consumerism outside North America. I pressed the sides of my cupped hands against the window, put my face to the glass and tried to take in what I could of the six floor retail space. Rei Kawakubo’s Comme Des Garcons fills the space among collaborations. They also sell animal skeletons as furniture. Awesome and awesome. I checked them out online and found that they have a great e-store that sells virtually the entire CDG and Play lines for 25% less than you can pick it up in North America. If you can figure out a way to get the pieces to you, then go for it before all the pieces go. They will go.
