Microsoft announced a new controller (Project Natal) for their Xbox line that has potential to level the playing field with Wii after a few years of Nintendo’s skyrocketing profits. Xbox’s new controller or lack there of, is a hands-free system that uses motion sensors for playing games and face recognition sensors to integrate emotion into the process. Check out the above video of some virtual interaction with Milo, which is arguably more creepy than it is impressive. Steven Spielberg was one of the spokesmen for the launch and is currently involved in game design at EA.
