I’ve been convinced that New York is the ideal city to live for a while now. Besides their unparalleled fashion scene, phenomenal restaurants and subcultures that stand alone as bigger than Toronto, New York has always had this ineffable factor that justifies renting a shoebox apartment for $2300 when you could live in any other relaxed city. My desire to live in the Western World’s nucleus was further solidified over an early breakfast at LGA Airport.
After getting my ass kicked by the city over the weekend, I sat with a couple of my buddies from the Danger Crew enjoying some fast food omelettes as we reminisced on our displays of bravery over the weekend. I saw a dude ordering an omelette of his own and I began to notice his exceptional gear. Bape shorts, New balance kicks, Playcloths T-shirt, LV backpack and braided hair under a Clipse New Era Hat. He turned around to reveal it was Pusha T from the Clipse. We went and hollared at him, took a picture and discussed Till the Casket Drops, Playcloths and 3-egg omelettes. Only in an NY fast food breakfast joint could omelettes be so eventful. Pusha T was super nice and even offered some universal life advice. We bro-hugged and before parting ways with Pusha T, he paused, contemplated his position as a role model to the youth, looked me the in the eye and said “be good.”
Peep Pusha T’s two recent singles with the Clipse from Till the Casket Drops.
