It’s no secret that I am a big fan of French label Kitsune. They consistently bring fresh music that covers all kinds of genres. One of their latest signings, Delphic, has recently caught my attention, thusly, dominating my speakers.
The best way to describe Delphic is a couple of English lads that make synth-laden indie-pop-rock. Pretty much a whole amalgamation of good stuff. “Counterpoint” is an energetic tune that sounds like something U2′s guitarist The Edge (Tangent: Who has the balls to name themselves The Edge? I’m going to start calling myself The Christian) would make if he played synths instead of guitar. “This Momentary” is a little more dreamy but still has the higher BPM’s to keep it exciting and rolling. Another great new talent to keep your ears out for.
