Mark Ronson is straight up one of the coolest people in the world. He’s always overdressed. He’s always super well dressed. He gels his hair. He’s worked with Nappy Roots, Gostface Killah, Rivers Cuomo, Mos Def, Jack White and Q-Tip; and that’s all on one album. Naturally, we’re super pumped that he’s gotten together with Gucci to design a few pairs of shoes. The DJ/Producer has come out with three designs with some classic cuts and wild colourways. On the real, these shoes are super legit without his celebrity added to them. They’re gonna run $500 plus some commitment to pick up.
They’re going to be available exclusively in Gucci Icon-Temporary pop-up stores that will be coming up in seven cities around the world. These stores will come up for two week periods and will solely consist of 18 sneaker designs to choose from. When you grab a pair, the leather tags and shoe laces can be customized with your initials. Totally worth it.

He makes good tunes, but those trainers are so ugly.
Only gigolos or people have $ but got no taste will rock them! Gucci should get Tom Ford back to work… i guess this is some kind of marketing shit.

Tom Ford is awesome, but Tom Ford designing for Gucci was no cheaper neither is his own label. I’m impressed with Ronson’s design choices. Plus, what’s wrong with dressing like a gigolo?
