It’s no secret that TMDP are one of our favorite groups. It doesn’t hurt that they’re extremely nice local guys who have supported Handsome since our humbling beginnings.

To celebrate a successful tour across eastern Canada they have released an official remix for Lissy Trullie‘s “Self-Taught Learner”. Lissy is New York’s new much-hyped lady songstress, but we prefer TMDPs italo-disco remix to the original. It’s so fresh and glimmering it makes me cooler just by listening to it. Even though the song clocks in at over 6 minutes, I still find myself wanting more.

Any fans of Sebastien Tellier shall appreciate this (and if you don’t then you’re the kid who bought Sexuality after you saw it in American Apparel stores).
