FW’11 fashion shows kicked off over the weekend in Milan. Missoni, the Italian house known for their incredible (incredible!) knitwear, used photographs by Juergen Teller in their set.
Teller was commissioned by the iconic family to photograph them during a beautiful and Missoni-filled (3 generations-filled) dinner. The images will be used in the company’s SS ’10 marketing campaign.
After thought: Personifying a brand using its driving force (i.e. creative director) is a trick mastered by the likes of Coco Chanel and Tom Ford. We see Missoni embrace this approach.
