Listen to me when I say Nocando is the world’s new hope for rap music (he can share this title along with Kid Cudi). Whereas most rappers (Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Common, Mos Def) have settled into their comfortable niche in the rap world, we have to keep our ear to the ground to find out who is going to push everyone forward. When you kneel down and press your lobe onto the cold concrete of the streets you will most likely hear Nocando’s frequencies infecting your mind.

I first heard “Hurry Up and Wait” last night and immediately knew it was something special. Although it does share some similarities with Weezy’s “A Milli”, I prefer “Hurry Up & Wait” tenfold. The next-level production/beats, clever lyrics, and inexplicable flow that you hope for in rap are all here. After you check this make sure to get the rest of the CD that features songs produced by Handsome favorite’s Nosaj Thing and Daedelus. Almost every song has something new and exciting going on (listen to his song “2 Track Mind” featuring Busdriver that has one of the most weirdly catchy choruses I’ve heard… video included after the jump).
