New Delorean from New Album “Subiza”

Tuesday, March 30, 2010

Need some music for the warmer months ahead?

Delorean is the answer.

The Spanish group’s new LP “Subiza” hit iTunes today and it is the perfect soundtrack for a summer spent under the warm sun having drinks on beaches/patios and remembering why you even bother suffering through below zero temperatures, icey sidewalks, delayed flights, and your snot freezing to your face while shoveling your car from under five feet of snow (I still harbor some bitter memories of Canadian & Minnesotan winters).

“Stay Close” is their first single and it picks up right where their last EP (which was basically the soundtrack to our entire last summer) left off. This is dance music for the beach instead of the club. More balmy than sweaty; more vibrant than hazy; more crisp glass of ice water than double vodka tonic.

If you like what you hear, be sure to check out our previous post about Delorean, watch the video for “Stay Close” below, and pick up their new album “Subiza”.
