THE TEACHERS COLLECTION | IUSTITIA OMNIBUS (INSPIRED BY JUSTICE)

Justice | Handsome Clothing Co.

Justice is the quintessential music group for the twenty first century. A pair of MacBook wielding Frenchman influenced as much by Guns N’ Roses and Metallica as Daft Punk and Air. They went on to gain notoriety through the internet/blogs for their metal minded approach to electro that blurred lines between the two previously disparate genres. From the moment we heard the early demos of the album that would later become the Grammy nominated †, it was apparent we were witnessing a resurgence of electronic music to the masses not seen in over a decade. Their rise shifted the entire music industry to pay attention to a new version of the underground, the internet, and go on to serve as one of the first case studies of how to turn blog success into a viable plan for real life success.

Justice also follows in the footsteps of other artists included in The Teachers Collection, contributing a strong visual presence to their already formidable sound. Keeping pace with their visuals and sound is their live show, famously documented by their film A Cross The Universe, that brought together incredible amounts of raw energy and showmanship. With only one album released, we’re excited to hear what’s next for this new, yet already influential, duo.

Our design serves as an emblem for Justice’s hard edged sound. We used imagery common to some of the duo’s own influences combined with a declaration we believe in, “iustitia omnibus” (justice for all).
