We are proud to announce that Handsome Clothing is now being sold at the exceptional retailer TNT (The New Trend) in Toronto, Canada. This is a perfect fit for us as we were fans of this store long before they began to carry our clothing. Since its inception, TNT has carried (and currently carries) some of the brightest fashion brands around including Comme Des Garcons, B.Son, Fred Perry, Nice Collective, ACNE, Rag & Bone, Steven Allan, Rogues Gallery and many more.
We feel privileged to be in such an established store and realize none of this could have happened without people like you. Whether you have purchased a shirt in the past, posted about us on your blog, or just stop by every now and then to see what we are up to; it all means a lot to us. Therefore, we want to send a big “Thank You” out into the world and to do this we made a little video (posted below) for all of you to enjoy.
Again, thank you for all the suppor and thank you for being a part of the dream.
The shop has been restocked. If you’re one of those people that been wanting some Handsome clothing but couldn’t grab anything because we were sold out, we humbly apologize for the wait and we hope you can grab a piece before we run out for the last time (yes… that means new pieces are in the works).
I did an interview with Charlie Marks of JinjaBeard a couple of days ago. For those who don’t know, JinjaBeard is a great little menswear/streetwear blog based in Sheffield, UK that highlights a lot of the best up-and-coming and lesser known brands out there.
If you care about what you wear we recommend you subscribe to JinjaBeard because it’s almost guaranteed that Charles will unearth an amazing/exciting brand you have never even heard of before.
Today, Handsome Clothing was featured in Yonge Street Media, a Toronto-based online publication. Check out the article for some insight into the company by journalist Julia Belluz.
“Yonge Street is a weekly online magazine named after the Toronto region’s main street and the spine that ties us altogether. Our mission is to see the future in what is working well in the Toronto region today. We will focus on the talent, innovation, diversity and quality of life stories in the region – all the things that create incredible demand for this place and keep it growing. Yonge Street also seeks to publish the news in a way that reflects the community and helps us all understand it better.”
One of our favorite things about Handsome is connecting with fans and like-minded, interesting people. Jamie Kidd is one of these people and he just happened to be from our hometown Toronto and be a rad dj/producer as well.
As the resident for Platform and the Box of Kittens (a notorious underground warehouse party) events in Toronto, he has performed alongside some super legit artists that include Trentemoller, Tiefschwarz, Radio Slave, Matthew Dear, James Holden, Marc Romboy, Gregor Tresher, and Timo Maas. Those are some pretty large names there for the techno, tech.house, and minimal dj genre. We don’t cover this type of music that much, but it’s not because we don’t appreciate it. I grew up listening to Timo Maas and how can you not love Trentemoller and James Holden?
Anyways, Mr. Kidd is the real deal and was nice enough to send us the pics above of him wearing Handsome Clothing’s The Truth About Existence shirt as well as one of his past releases under the Metalogic moniker (a collaboration he does with Frederik Hatsav). Also, make sure to check out his “Thoughtless Transmissions” mix. It is a heady techno adventure.

My friend Topher Mileski is having an artist reception this Friday from 6-9PM at Café Zope in Tucson, and I will be there performing Handsome’s very own Outer Space Mix live.
You may remember Topher as a model for Handsome’s first lookbook, but you should know him as a legit artist and all around great guy.
If super awesome art and music isn’t enough to entice you, there will be wine and crêpes. Little known fact… artists gain more nutrients from wine and french pastries than normal people. It’s a fact.
If you missed the Outer Space Mix the first time around, you can download it below.
