Just in time for the weekend, I recorded a new mix of the club tracks I’m feeling at the moment. It’s good. I promise.
Includes music by Diplo, Nu Ravers on the Block, A1 Bassline, Black Noise, Crookers, Douster, Dada Life, Mustard Pimp, and even some Will Smith and Journey. Play it to get the party rowdy.

Always fresh with their clothes and always fresh with their music, NY streetwear brand Mishka have released their newest mix by wobble kings Jack Beats. Respect goes to Mishka, who are able to grab the London music duo at the top of their game, and get them to craft a mix comprised of the best of Jack Beats and the best of the year. A lot of my favorites are on here including the Noob remix of “Blau”, “Hit the Club”, “Riverside”, and the Jack Beats remix of “Hard Times”. A great mix to finish up this year.
Lupe is making his way back into the spotlight he deserves as promised. Step 1: Make a cassette style mixtape for Thanksgiving weekend. Done.
Here’s twenty-two minutes of straight Fiasco. My favourite samples have to be Hov’s So Ghetto and The Clipse’ Popular Demand. Enjoy.

We haven’t posted any mixes or any filthy electro in awhile so I thought I’d kill two birds with one stone and post my favorite new producers’ new mix. Black Noise came out of nowhere for me last month with their remix of Trevor Levoy’s anthemic “Organ Grinder” and ever since I’ve found something to love about each their songs and remixes. They’ve kind of taken the place that Stanton Warriors used to hold for me with that breaky electro sound that not many people do.
They released this special mix to celebrate the release of their second EP on Southern Fried Records (known for that mean electro) dropping in November. If you’re a DJ and you know what you’re doing you will go buy their first EP. Sorry for posting this on Sunday when the majority of you are probably hungover but trust; listen to this all week and then crank it up next Friday and you’ll want to do it all over again.
TRACKLIST:

The idea behind the mix was to make it as eclectic as possible, but still full of tunes you want to dance to. Whether it’s the perfect harmonies of The Beach Boys, the indie rock sound of Pony Pony Run Run, the disco flavored “I Think I Like It” by Fake blood, the afro-beats of GreenMoney, or some of that mean electro championed by Hostage, this mix has got it.
Get it and play it loud on this most excellent labor day. Tracklist below.
1. The Beach Boys – Wouldn’t It Be Nice (The Girls Can Hear Us Remix)
2. Rainbow Arabia – Holidays In Congo (Myd Remix)
3. Pony Pony Run Run – Hey You (Stereoheroes Remix)
4. Fake Blood – I Think I Like It

11. La Roux – I’m Not Your Toy (Jack Beats Remix)
TRVSDJAM better known as the collaborative effort between Travis Barker and DJ AM have come out with their second Fix Your Face Mixtape. Volume 2 is from Coachella ‘09 and features some amazing mash-ups. Both albums are available for free at TRVSDJAM.com. One of the standout mixes on Fix Your Face 2 is “Coachella 11″ which mixes Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing in the Name of”, Fatman Scoop’s “Put Your Hands in the Air” and Jay-Z’s “Public Service Announcement”. It’s my favourite mash-up album since Feed The Animals. Enjoy. Be good.

I got this new mix in my inbox a couple days ago. It immediately caught my attention for 3 reasons.
1) It is Dada Life and these Swedes have been killing it for years. It was always great to have a Dada Life or two back in the day when they weren’t so big and you needed something to get the crowd going. It would almost always result in someone running up to the DJ booth and asking “Who does this? I NEED this!”
3) It has my favorite song at the moment on it… Diplo & Afrojack – How I Like It. This song makes me want to headbutt someone… in a good way.
2) The mix starts with the Mr. Oizo’s remix of “Shoes” which you may remember I started my mix off with. I therefore beat Dada Life to something.
But for reals I’m a joke compared to these guys and after listening to this mix you’ll see why.
Tiga – Shoes (Mr Oizo Remix)
Unconditional – Gladiators (Nari & Milani Remix)
Curses! – The Deep End (Bart B More Remix)
Prodigy – No Good (Dimitri Vegas Bootleg Mix)
Dada Life – Happy Hands & Happy Feet (Malente’s Wasted Kidz & Wacky Mix)
Diplo & Afrojack – How I Like It
Djedjotronic feat.Spoek – Dirty and Hard (Boys Noize Remix)
Albin Myers – Times Like These (Dada Life Remix)
Proxy – Raven (Crookers Remix)
Dada Life – Cheap Thrills For A Lost Generation (12″ Edit)
Designer Drugs – Zombies (Bird Peterson Remix)
Don Diablo – Get on the floor (Don Diablo’s Just Begun Edit)
The Bloody Beetroots Feat Steve Aoki – WARP 1.9
