Junya Watanabe Checked Blouson Jacket

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

Junya Watanabe has never attempted to be accessible to the masses. Their often unconventional cuts and price tags leave most people in the spectator role. Their collections as well as ongoing line for Comme Des Garcons often featured wider pants, chunkier soles and trend-averse choices that separated them from many.

Their recent Checked Blouson Jacket is a simple, refined and quiet statement. A great cut complimented with some exceptional details come together and it’s looking sharp. More detailed pictures ahead.

Available at Browns.

Handsome Clothing Now Sold At TNT

Monday, March 15, 2010

We are proud to announce that Handsome Clothing is now being sold at the exceptional retailer TNT (The New Trend) in Toronto, Canada. This is a perfect fit for us as we were fans of this store long before they began to carry our clothing. Since its inception, TNT has carried (and currently carries) some of the brightest fashion brands around including Comme Des Garcons, B.Son, Fred Perry, Nice Collective, ACNE, Rag & Bone, Steven Allan, Rogues Gallery and many more.

We feel privileged to be in such an established store and realize none of this could have happened without people like you. Whether you have purchased a shirt in the past, posted about us on your blog, or just stop by every now and then to see what we are up to; it all means a lot to us. Therefore, we want to send a big “Thank You” out into the world and to do this we made a little video (posted below) for all of you to enjoy.

Again, thank you for all the support and thank you for being a part of the dream.

Varsity jackets have been prominent on the scene for the last couple of seasons and now Opening Ceremony are playing their part for Spring/Summer 2010. Opening Ceremony have managed to do a better job than most with a slim cut silhouette that leaves the boxy arms and excess material behind from the varsity classic. Both colourways are looking sharp and so refined they can even be pulled off with trim shorts.
